  • Sylwia Gielarowiec, MS, CCC-SLP

    is a Maryland State licensed Speech and Language Pathologist and co-founder of Small Talk. Sylwia received her Bachelor of Arts in Speech, Language and Hearing Science from Temple University and Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology from University of the District of Columbia. Since 2018, Sylwia has worked with infants and toddlers through Philadelphia’s Early Intervention program. Sylwia is passionate about working with children birth through school-aged in the areas of expressive and receptive language, speech sounds disorders, social-emotional development, and feeding. Sylwia is eager to work with children and their families. Sylwia enjoys coaching caregivers on ways to facilitate language development through daily routines. Sylwia has worked with medically complex cases such as children with trach, Passy Muir Speak Valve (PMSV), ventilator dependency, and feeding tube dependency in a variety of settings. Sylwia is bilingual and speaks fluent Polish. Sylwia is a neurodiversity affirming clinician that utilizes a child-led therapy approach. Sylwia maintains a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Sylwia has recently moved to Baltimore and is excited to provide services within this community.

  • Allison Ortolano, MS, CCC-SLP

    is a Pennsylvania State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and co-founder of Small Talk. Allison received both her Bachelors and her Masters in Speech Language Pathology from Loyola University Maryland. Allison has practiced in both Maryland and Pennsylvania, most recently working in Philadelphia’s Early Intervention program. Allison has extensive experience working with children birth through school-aged with a wide range of expressive and receptive language disorders. Allison is passionate about providing all children with access to communication through Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Allison enjoys working closely with families in a way that reinforces learned strategies to ensure their child’s growth and success continue beyond weekly sessions. Allison is a neurodiversity affirming therapist with a child-led therapy approach. Allison is certified in Attachment Biobehavioral Catch-up, which is a home-based parent coaching program focused on fostering healthy social-emotional development. Allison is also trained in Natural Language Acquisition framework(NLA) and Gestalt Language Processing thorough completion of the Meaningful Speech course. Allison maintains a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

  • Bridget Parkes, MA, CCC-SLP

    is a Pennsylvania State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and co-founder of Small Talk. Bridget received both her Bachelors and her Masters in Speech Language Pathology from Temple University. Most recently, Bridget has worked with infants and toddlers through Philadelphia’s Early Intervention program. Bridget holds many years of experience working with children birth through school-aged in the areas of expressive and receptive language, social-emotional development, ASD, and feeding. Bridget uses a parent-coaching model with personalized strategies that allow caregivers to feel confident with helping their child grow. Bridget is a neurodiversity affirming clinician with a strengths-based approach. Bridget is certified in Attachment Biobehavioral Catch-up, which is a home-based parent coaching program focused on fostering healthy social-emotional development. Bridget is trained in Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) and Gestalt Language Processing thorough completion of the Meaningful Speech course. Bridget is also a sensory trained speech therapist following the completion of the Inside Out Sensory Training. Bridget maintains a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

  • Kristen Zulli MA CCC-SLP

    Is a Pennsylvania State Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Kristen received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Science and Disorders from the University of Pittsburgh with a minor in Linguistics and Certificate in American Sign Language. She received her Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology from Temple University. Since 2020, Kristen has worked with children ages 3-6 throughout Delaware County in the areas of expressive and receptive language, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), speech sound disorders, social-emotional development, and ASD. Kristen strives to provide individualized strength-based treatment for each child to reach their speech and language goals. Kristen is a neurodiversity-affirming therapist with a child-led approach. Kristen is currently acquiring training in Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) and Gestalt Language Processing through the Meaningful Speech course. Kristen maintains a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
